Russell’s Restaurant with rooms at Smiddy House Located within The Great Glen, 60 miles of splendour from Fort William to Inverness. Russell’s offers genuine Scottish hospitality with luxury surroundings. We are in the centre of Spean Bridge, ideal for visiting the areas many attractions e.g. Ben Nevis, Loch Ness, The Road to the Isles, The Isle of Skye, etc.
Serving outstanding cuisine with fresh local game, fish and a selection of local produce, Russell’s is an award winning 2 AA rosette restaurant incorported within Smiddy House, Spean Bridge near Fort William. Our guest bedrooms are tastefully decorated and well appointed, dressed with fresh flowers and luxury linens. Our garden room offers a peaceful retreat, somewhere to relax in the afternoon and where you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink whilst perusing the evening’s menu. The menu offers a choice of 2 and 3 courses; dining is informal and relaxed. Our menu changes regularly and uses the finest of produce including Scotch beef, Highland lamb, venison and game.
On arrival guests are welcome with complimentary shortbread and sherry. All rooms are en-suite, have TV/DVD player, radio/clock, hairdryer, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities.
