Invercoe by Glencoe on the shore of Loch Linnhe

Invercoe is the location of Invercoe Highland Holidays and where a few scattered houses can be found along the road to Kinlochleven. The word "inver" in Highland terminology means "the place where a river meets the sea" - hence Invercoe is the place where the River Coe flows into Loch Leven, a tidal sea loch and part of the Atlantic Ocean.

Invercoe is actually just a few minutes stroll from Glencoe Village, so if you are looking for a self-catering holiday, or are touring the West Highlands, this is a good location to stop for a few days or longer. Just picture in your mind a small community with big mountains behind and sea-shore in front with stunning views to the west... the photos above perhaps give an indication of the area...
