Restaurants in Glencoe, Kinlochleven, Corran, Inchree, Duror and Port Appin

Within the Glencoe area there are a number of restaurants situated in beautiful countryside settings, some with sea views and others with mountain views - and a few with all of these things. There are more than enough places here to eat in a different restaurant or pub for a week.

The journey around Loch Leven would take you past Lochleven Seafood Cafe & Shop on the north shore and at the head of the Loch, through the village of Kinlochleven. On the hillside just north of the village there is a former Highland hunting lodge and the village has several bars and restaurants including The Tailrace Inn.

The Ice Factor has a cafe and bar to relax in while you watch people on the indoor climbing walls. At the junction of Glencoe village and the A82 sits The Glencoe Hotel, presently being refurbished and ready to serve travellers. As you drive through the mountains in Glencoe The Clachaig Inn is a popular place to stop and eat.

At Ballachulish and on the way to Oban you can eat at The Ballachulish Hotel, The Dragons Tooth Golf course, The Hollytree HotelThe Stewart Hotel and The Airds Hotel & Restaurant. There's also a cafe at the visitor centre for Stalker Castle.

Over the Ballachulish Bridge call into the Loch Leven Hotel to see what;s cooking and then along the shore at Onich you can choose from The Lodge on the Loch, The Allt nan Ros Hotel, The Onich Hotel and then as you approach Corran, The Four Seasons. The Corran Inn by the narrows on Loch Linnhe is presently closed but we expect it to open for next year.
